Girl Power Part 1

The Fall of Men

The new rape laws had become very strict. It was the days, when all the leading politicians and industrialists were stuck in court due to false rape charges made by opponents. As the office had to work without hassle, they decided to transfer the power to people who could not be falsely accused. Thus most of the companies and power went into the hands of the woman. It was only the beginning of the fall. As more and more woman seemed to get into important positions, they pulled their friends and other female workers up with them. Thus the only jobs left for the men were low level jobs. Most of the time the men were left to just serve coffee or be secretary to a high position female employees. The change of power was not limited to the industry and politics. Soon this shift changed the families and traditions. Now status and income of a woman mattered more, similarly the looks and nature of the men mattered more when seeking marriages. This change not only rippled through the entire social structure but also had ramifications on the unsocial one. With more men behind for crimes than woman. Soon the entire criminal world also fell in the hands of the woman. The time for men had ended. It is the story of the woman who established the new revolution among woman beginning from her own home. The year was 2025 when the female finally realized their own control of the society and decided to bend it.

The Home before the fall

Padmawati or Padma as she liked to be called had just married into a family where woman did not have the right to speak. It was not her decision to marry but her parents did not want the burden of a daughter anymore. So she was handed to the first guy who came with an offer. Rajesh or Raj worked in a textile mill as a manager. He was shrewd and dominating in nature. Rajesh had a sister Smita, dad Vinod and mother Sushila living with him.

From day one Padma was kept in the house as a servant. She may have studied management college. She was not allowed to work because Raj who simply had passed 12th did not want to feel inferior. So she had to look after the house and its occupants. The only person who ever talked to her was Smita. Apart from that Sushila also never had a voice in the house as she would just keep quite in her own room. While Vinod would spent his entire day bad mouthing and ordering Padma around.

This structure continued for a year till one day the politician owning the textile mills in the area got arrested on charges of raping his servant. The entire textile mills went into the hands of his son. The son had no desire of doing any work so he sold the mills to a company that manufactured ready made clothes. The company was run by a young woman, who had found herself at top of her father's firm as her brother was always drunk and involved in gambling.

As soon as the woman became the head of the company, the men in the company started to get unmangeable. They did not like being ordered by a woman so never did what they were told to do. This led to sacking of a few employees. One of the employees fired was Rajesh. He had been found inciting employees to break rules as the boss was too weak being a woman to do anything about it.
